Welcome, I'm Melanie! I'm a full-time Voice Over artist that records from my home in Charlotte, NC. With almost two decades of experience as a working actor, I pride myself in being an easeful collaborator and giving my clients exactly what they need.
I offer broadcast quality recordings with 24 hour turnaround time, recorded in my Studiobricks vocal booth. I can connect with clients via Source Connect (melaniemendezvo), Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts, and more.
My vocal age range is 20s to 40s and my natural accent is standard American. I also have the ability to use an authentic Latina accent and voice simple Spanish words and phrases when the project calls for it. My voice can be described as soothing and warm, confident, relatable, engaging, sensual, luxurious, and versatile. I'm the casual mom next door, the compassionate best friend (that's a great listener), and the ambitious and engaging millennial.
I began my professional acting career performing on stages across the UK and US as Nickleodeon's Dora the Explorer. Upon my move to the Southeast, I transitioned into on camera, commercial and Voice Over work and have since been heard and seen in numerous commercials and even episodic television. You can have confidence knowing I am a very dependable and experienced professional that loves to see a creative vision through.
