About Mel
Mel is a voice actor and motion capture actor who was born, adopted, and raised in the suburbs of Liverpool, England and moved to North America in her late teens. Her voice is great for kids and teen audiobooks, VR, video games, E-Learning, Corporate and Narration.
Mel is also a health coach, personal trainer, and a former world-class athlete, hired by Cirque du Soleil as an acrobatic character. As an experienced performer she has used her voice, acrobatic skill, and physical acting, to tell stories to thousands of audience members across the world for many years. Mel is a storyteller in voice and body.
Mel has an authentic Mid-Atlantic voice that is friendly, loving, spirited, reassuring, calm, and trusting. Her tone is clear, leading, convincing, conversational, believable, pleasant, and grainy. Her vocal energy is mysterious, gentle, light, neutral, motherly, nurturing, solid, and mild.
Mel is a US Citizen, a UK citizen, and has a valid Canadian work visa.
