About Matthew
A male South African, born to British parents with experience in e-Learning, commercial, character work, audiobooks, animation, audio dramas, podcast intros, YouTube channels, narration, indie games, online promo, and escape rooms. Matthew has been the voice of Simple Flying, an aviation news channel since 2018. He currently plays all adult male characters in Fire Spike! a YouTube kids' show.
He is also a co-founder of a military news channel called Baltic Defence Review.
Matthew has worked with numerous independent creators on games, stories, explainers, audiobooks and audio dramas used for business, student projects, corporate, and YouTube.
He has been working in voiceover since 2016 and has been able to do so full-time since 2020.
Matthew understands the need to find a balance between great quality and affordability, and is able to offer the client a fantastic recording experience on budget, because he has a professionally-treated home studio. This saves the cost of having to hire a commercial studio, but still ensures a clean, clear recording.
