Matthew Latkiewicz was the host of truTV's You Can Do Better and author of the book You Suck at Drinking. He has worked in advertising as a creative director and has produced the VO for many commercials.

I have a classic, laid back, resonant male voice. I was trained as a singer, so have a great deal of versatility with my "instrument." I can perform a range of tones and inflections from conversational young adult to professional older man.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI began doing voiceover when I was a creative director at Zendesk. Because we were trying to make videos for cheap, I started doing all the voiceover myself. Turns out my musical theater trained voice worked well for it. I wrote the copy, recorded the audio, and edited it for our marketing department. Since then, I have moved to Los Angeles, where I now work as a TV host and writer. I studied musical theater, which includes much voice training, and have coached with Robin Reed, a professional voiceover coach in Los Angeles. I have a home sound booth set up for both recording and editing. I record on Shure PG42. I also have access to professional studios all over Los Angeles.
