Irish, Scottish, British, North American, Australian, South African, Japanese, Scandinavian, German, French, Russian, Mexican, black (such as that is an accent - more a timbre) I do Julia Gillard, farcical versions of Australian TV Personalities, and other voice over artists. I do old men AND old women, people of various size and strength, people of varying intelligence, and people of varying proficiency where acting is concerned. Given time, I will tackle any impersonation I am assigned. Also, I create character voices for cartoons, animals and inanimate objects. Also I do a great ghoul.

I worked for the last six years at the Gold Coast for a leading radio network in the Creative department, where we would frequently be called in by producers to voice ads that the regular voices didn't have a chance to do! This was anything from straight reads, retail, hard sells and emotional pleas, to political send-ups, Robbie Williams, strange old women, blokes at the pub, and a toaster. These ads can be heard throughout regional Australia, especially the Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, Mackay and Toowoomba. I was regularly called in to sing, and often to play for a jingles of my own invention. I am a trained musician in voice and piano! Also I have an Education degree. I have performed as leads in many musicals on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and I used to play Benny in an ABBA tribute show which toured Australia! I am a very experienced copywriter as well as the work I do for voice overs and music. I use an MT90 mic through an M-AUDIO Mobile Pre-USB interface with a Mac running Logic. The room is passed with mattresses and convoluted foam. I usually run the finished product through the de-esser and tweak the EQ to add richness, and I'll happily de-breath anything that needs de-breath-ing. I also have access to the Image OnLine studios on Johnson St, Fitzroy, Melbourne. I come from a family line of academics and teachers, so, as such, I form words well and have a warm, personable, sincere, articulate voice. Everyone in my family boasts a fine education! When I worked as a teacher myself (a career I left to take up radio) the students' favourite part of the day was always story time, because my best skill was bringing the characters in the book to life!
