Family, friends and perfect strangers have complimented me for years on my clear, calm and commanding voice. I practiced early as a US State Department english as a foreign language teacher the import of vocal intonation, articulation, volume, cadence, and tone with speech drills for the student audience. Those skills were honed and sharpened as a military officer within DoD's Intelligence & Security Command, making presentations to senior leaders.
