I have just recently started in this field so my voice is new and fresh. My last position was as a News Assistant at WUWM FM89.7 Milwaukee Public Radio where I voiced several short news features and some long form stories. I have done several mock radio spots for Animal Planet Radio and some concert promos and PSAs.
I have been working with a voice coach from Actor's Craft since September of 07.
February to May of 2005 I interned at WUWM FM89.7 as a news assistant where I interviewed the news makers and wrote and voiced stories for air. September 2003 to May 2004, I trained in radio production and digital editing using Cool Edit Pro/Adobe Audition and voiceover at the Radio Center For People With Disabilities in Chicago, Illinois. 1993 I graduated from Columbia College, Chicago with a BA degree in sound engineering.
I use a Shure microphone with a tube mic preamp and record and edit digitally using Adobe Audition software in a small soundproof room in my basement.
As well as having been trained and worked in the field of sound recording and live production and digital editing, I have worked in customer service where I did a lot of scripted telephone work. I have been MC for some shows and given speaches at Lions Club meetings.
