About Martin
I get people to the dinner table, out for a twirl, or curl them up with a book. I'm a well-traveled realist - and can lilt Twain, lift Kerouac and get lost with you in Glasgow, Lisbon or London.
Published author & playwright, former ad-agency art director. I know what you need because I've produced & bought it. I know how to deliver, on time.

sounds I make:
--> • Southern: Mid-Atlantic/Carolina, sophisticated (not Texas or Hee Haw). Clean, old-school (ref. Edward R Murrow, Charlie Rose). First, trained by my great-grandmother, born 1883.
--> • New York: Authentic roots, but using local expressions and stacatto. A good, light contrast to "Goodfellows" clichés.
--> • Glasgow/Scottish: Realistic use of expressions and tones as a foreign speaker. More Weegee than Teuchter, ken?
--> • London: Informed, foreign speaker. Softer 'R's" and rounder sentences. (Informed, but not a fake British Madonna accent).
