I am the winner of the first ever Katwalk Voice-over contest sponsored by Such-A-Voice. I have over 25 years experience in radio and television and have been teaching broadcasting since 1980. I have a position as a stadium announcer and have MC'eed several local events in the South Puget Sound. In my career my voice has been heard all over the Western US and Northern Canada as I was the production director for several NW radio stations. Early in my career I could be heard as the narrator for the Port of Pasco information kiosk and since then I have voiced hundreds of commercial spots along with hosting a cable TV show in Spokane,WA. Recently I was invited to MC the Annual Dustin Blatnik Guitar Showcase in Tacoma, WA.
In addition to early training with several radio personalities, I have in my teaching career been very active in researching the voice and vocal techniques so my students can be prepared for employment in the field. As the Such-A-Voice winner I have particpated in several tele-seminars and live coaching.
Presently I have access to MacBook Pro with Garageband and Soundtrack Pro, several types of mics including YETI, Blue Snowball, Audio-Technica and Sennheiser.
I am a family man, home-owner and a high school teacher. With 3 kids ranging from 24 to 7, I can relate to older and younger audience needs. I am a motorcyle and bicycle enthusiast and live with a triathlete wife so my interests and exposure to a wide variety of topics is constant. I am curious about earth and especially space and all things related to string-theory and the cosmos. I am flexible and committed to customer care, satisfaction and results!
