My name is Mark Heimann, and I am currently recording in my professionally equipped and sound-managed studio in Tallahassee, FL. You can count on prompt turnovers, flexibility with direction, and dependable timelines. Storytelling is a wonderful craft, and I look forward to presenting your vision in the best light and sound possible.
My voice is a mid-range baritone, described as wise, fatherly, rugged, deep, mature, serious, down-to-earth, strong, husky, and dramatic. Monsters, gnomes, high range falsettos, and other interesting and customizable beings travel with me, too.
Many years working as a paramedic gave me the ability to understand (and pronounce!) medical and pharmacological terminology. It's a step ahead when voicing medical training, continuing education, commercial application, eLearning, and hospital in-house videos.
I've done a lot of different things in my time, including many decades of historical and theatrical re-enacting - experiences that enable me to breathe real life and knowledge into roles spanning ages, accents, and actions appropriate for almost any type of voiceover.
I believe that a life well and deeply lived enables authenticity, credibility, and genuine character. I appreciate the opportunity to work with you!
