I have performed in various audio dramas for Columbia College Chicago, based out of their Radio department. 'Inner Demons' was the name of my first real voice acting job, a job I landed in 2010. For Inner Demons, I performed various extra roles and had one re-occurring character. I was also understudy for one of the lead roles, in the absence of his actor. Since than, I also got involved in Columbia's Audio Drama Club's Manifest presentation on May 15th 2011, performing in three different segments (two as a lead actor, and one as a sound operator). Since than, I have also gained the attention of the arts and entertainment company Four-Sixteen Productions, with whom I am now an independent contractor for doing voice-over.
Various classes that I have taken in Columbia College Chicago's Radio Department has educated me on the subject. My most intimate class was 'Voice Acting for Animation' with Chicago voice talent Jeff Lupetin. I also have attended a couple of voice-over workshops and Q&A sessions from attending anime conventions, with workshops hosted by professional VAs involved in the anime industry like Tony Oliver, Tom Wayland, and Mike Sinterniklaas. The Audio Drama Club at Columbia also allows us to read various old radio plays and act them out. One time, we were able to bring in professional voice actor Pat Fraley into our meeting time, who educated us on voice work, reading scripts, and let us perform and record a number of script that he himself supplied.
On my computer, I have Ableton Live version 8.0.7 and also own a Blue Snowball Microphone, which allows me to record adn edits material from my work desk.
I'm a live actor and have acted in various stage productions and student films. Additionally, I have knowledge of using various sound production programs, such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Adobe Audition (though I mainly use Pro Tools and Ableton). I'm also interested in getting involved in directing actors.
