I started out in Radio in Seattle in 1983 as an intern at radio station KSPL while going to Broadcasting School. I was also doing Stand Up Comedy.
I was hired to do a 3 to 5 minute comedy routine that aired Monday thru Friday at 7:30 am. The bit was called the Funniest Man in the World. I also produced a radio show on the weekends, playing Rock and Roll from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's.
I was hired by another radio station KYYX in 1984 to direct the production of on air commercials.
I recently completed voice over training at Such A Voice. I graduated from Ron Bailey School of Broadcast located in Seattle, WA in 1984. I performed in theater in high school and college. I performed in Stand Up Comedy for several years locally in Seattle, WA.
I have a complete voice over recording studio. The studio walls and ceiling have been covered with acoustical tile. I have Presonus Studio One software, Scarlett 2i2 Focusrite USB recording interface and a RODE NT1-A studio condenser microphone.
I have a natural talent for improvisation. Speaking and acting, whether in my normal voice or in character mode, comes easy for me as I enjoy and have practiced much of my life. I am reliable, responsible, punctual and pride myself in meeting the clients needs and deadlines. I am a quick study.
