I have voicing professionally for over 10 years in the local, regional and national market. My work has ranged from commercial to narration, ADR to prelay animation, industrials to close captioning. I have had the good fortune to work throughout the industry. I have been the voice of Westjet, Subaru, Ford, Toyota, Safeway, United Way, Marks Work Wearhouse, The United Way.
Studios & Directors love me because, after more than a decade of being in the industry my instincts are well honed. I have been called a one take wonder, a ringer, the gal you get in a pinch.
I am super keen to get you what you want in a read, and with such a versatile voice we can go many ways.
"Mariette is one of my favourite voices to work with. She is completely at home behind the mic, and delivers believable performances every time. She also has a deeper understanding of script interpretation that allows her to bring extra magic...helping words on the page become a scene the listener just gets swept along with. Extremely directable, and collaborative, I never hesitate to put her forward on any of my projects." Brad Belcher, Forge Audio

As a theatre artist I have a long background in writing, directing and performing. I understand the blocks that limit the performance and am comfortable directing myself but also very keen on the collaborative process.
My experience in voice has allowed me to notice trends and spot concerns, issues or opportunities long before a less seasoned performer.
Teaching voice has allowed me to come up with novel ways to leap frog the limitations that stifle the creative process behind the mic.
