Born in Arizona, M. Luke Scott developed his talent for voicework when he was a child, practicing as a radio announcer while watching baseball games on TV. He also spent time working the radio station at 90.9 "The Light" in the late 90's during college. He later did some guest spots at 91.1 on the weekends. As a high school teacher, Luke teaches his film program, which includes doing a bi-weekly morning announcement show where commercials are created by the students where he will periodically do voiceovers.
I am a high school film/journalism teacher. This is my 11th year in teaching. I am very professional and easy to work with. I earned a communications/public relations/advertising degree. Part of this degree was learning about voiceovers and film/sound. My goal is provide "that" sound for whoever needs it. Most importantly, to make the client pleased with the voice I am offering them.
Currently, I utilize a Blue Yeti Pro Mic for all my voice audition jobs. For editing, I use Adobe Audition and GarageBand. I also use a Zoom H4n portable mics for recording in the car when I am on the run and need to do a job or a re-record instantly.
Mac running Adobe Premier Pro CS6 and Adobe Audition Cs6. I also run my church soundboard a few times a month. I also love watching movies and listening/studying commercials. I enjoy listening for an actors range of dialect and also the influence of how they use their voice. My goal is to please the customer and create whatever voice they are looking for to the best of my ability.
