Lamar’s unique set of experiences all center around communication and positive relationships. His 20 years as terrestrial radio talent is coupled with 20 more years in the field of education, where he has served as an English teacher, vice principal, principal, and school district administrator.
As a broadcaster, educator, and public speaker, Lamar has engaged countless audiences with a voice that's equal parts deep, melodic, and dynamic -- one that listeners have always said commanded their attention.
Prior to earning the degree of Master of Education with Distinction, Lamar received a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from California State University, Fresno, which led to years of experience as a newspaper reporter, television newswriter, and prime time television news producer before transitioning into schools.
In addition to spending time with his wife and helping to raise two young children who more than keep him on his toes, voice artistry is among Lamar's greatest joys.
