My first ad, in 2000, was for the Chicago Bulls... I got $500 for my sexy delivery of three words: "Miller Beer Presents". I was hooked! My favorite job was in 2003 as the voice of Natasha Romanov, aka Black Widow, for a "Daredevil" Digital Comic Book DVD! I have narrated three documentaries, including "Out of the Pit: Dog Fighting in Chicago", which won a Genesis Award for Outstanding PBS Local Documentary in 2004. I have done a series of recurring non-union ads for Women's Workout World, Harley-Davidson, Old Style, and the USA Baby/Child Space retail chain. I have done some nutty industrials, including a Paris Hilton impersonation. If you can imagine it, I have either recorded it or auditioned for it!
I graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Speech in 1996. With my theater background, I started acting locally in Chicago storefront productions, eventually founding Rogue Theater Company with my husband in 2002. I took a VO class at the incredibly skilled and awesome Bosco Productions in Chicago in 1999, made my demo through their studio, and have been doing non-union VO ever since.
I have Audacity for my iMac and a Yeti USB desktop microphone with pop filter.
My theater background has lent itself extensively to my ability to take direction, which is usually pretty helpful!
