I am just starting out in the world of voiceover, but I have had training from some of the best of the best, including Richard Horvitz, Bill Holmes and Martha Mayakis. I've always felt that I was at or near the top of my classes, even with experienced voice actors, particularly once I found Richard Horvitz. I feel that my commercial demo (directed by Richard Horvitz) reflects that.
I first became interested in voiceover after being a news anchor on Radio K, at the University of Minnesota. Once I moved to Los Angeles, I started to pursue voiceover, and it felt like a natural fit for me. I am primarily a musician, and find that my extensive experience in that field has helped me a lot in voiceover, in terms of having the right attitude and the right approach.
