About Lennox
Member sinceAug 19, 2010
My voice is one of many factors due to my father being a member of the military. Due to his service to his country I was able travel and be exposed to many walks of life. This being so I picked up on accents from all over whether it was a child, teenager, adult, male or female. My voice ranges from very monotone to a little high. I also have a slight east coast New Jersey/New Yorkish accent that comes out from time to time. Can be warm and tender to harsh and disrespectful.

Additional vocal abilities
I can imitate nearly any voice I hear as well as make my own character. I consider myself a human recorder or an echo machine. I find no voice, accent or language is impossible to project. I can do crazy and overly excited to a smooth sly cat and anything in between. My range includes: Valley girl, spoiled brat, douche bag, Mexican Vato, B Boy, Angry Black man, Pimp, Italian Guido, English Robot, Uptight Englishman, English girl or boy, Gangster, illiterate person, redneck, Brooklyn B boy, nerd, Jewish woman from Yonkers, smooth foreigner, villain, super nice how do you do type of guy, Chipper neighbor, Bully (of any race), stereotypical Indian or Native American (almost any race actually)etc. etc. etc. As far as imitating voices (exaggerated/over the top or not) I can do Darth Vader, Sean Connery, Jerry Seinfeld, Optimus Prime, The Movie trailer guy, 2pac while Rapping, Dave Chappelle, Charlie Murphy, Ernie from Sesame Street, Yoda, Conan the barbarian, Robocop, Bill Paxton, Phil Hartman, Mr. Howell, Unicron, Perceptor, Blaster and Ironhide from the Transformers cartoon, Cleveland, Stewie, and Louis from Family Guy, Homer when he tries to imitate a voice, Samuel L Jackson, Yogi Bear, Spicoli from Fast times at Ridgemont High, Mr. Myagi. Jackie Chan, Clint Eastwood, Doc Brown, Sponge Bob, Billie Joe of Greenday's singin' voice, Gimli the Dwarf of The Lord of The Ring Movies, Pee Wee Herman, Dracula singing voice, Dr. Evil, Pinky and The Brain, Wakko Warner and many more. I'll probably be adding more to this list in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
Experience, training, and equipment
I've preformed my entire life as far as being on stage that is. I've done many talent shows and now am the lead vocalist in a band known as The Sons of Jor-EL. I've recorded 1 LP and an EP to date with my band actually. I've done many imitations for parties, shows and friends though I've never received money. I find myself very zany and spontaneous when it comes to preforming whether it's with my music or voices alike. I recently recorded a commercial with Mr. Gameshow out of San Antonio, TX. for a Go Daddy spot though it did not get picked up it was quite a great experience and I did get a lot of awesome feedback from it and also picked up a few extra gigs. I have never limited myself when it comes to the jobs I've done which shows in the outcome and so far that's one positive thing.
My music the recordings I've done and just my day to day life is my true experience. To me life is one big performance and the world is my stage.
I presently record at my band mates home. The software we use is Pro Tools. The microphone I generally use is an EV 410. We use the effects available on our software but occasionally use and experiment with different mics to get a variety of sound from them (whether its low grade or high grade). Technology is constantly changing and sometimes we like to get a bit of the old school standard incorporated into our recordings.
