About Lea
Voice Over Artist, Singer, Songwriter, Sound Editor and DJ; Lea (pronounced 'Lee') refuses to be categorised and chooses to broadcast her talents across various spectrums.
Starting as a musician; she transferred those skills to pave a career in VO and sound engineering. By the age of 18 she found herself supporting acts such as Jay-Z, Beyonce, Roots Manuva and Amy Winehouse which then led to working with other established acts such as 'Chk Chk Chk’ Crystal Fighters, Friendly Fires, TLC, Horace Andy and many more. As a certified post production sound editor and song writer, Lea has created original music for shows such as HBO’s documentary ‘Wig’,’Hollyoaks’ and 'Made in Chelsea’ and assisted the sound department on productions such as Sky comedy 'Brassic' and mini documentary series ‘Home’. She has also provided sound design on award winning short 'Little Soldier' as well as music supervised on C4's BAFTA nominated drama 'Through The Gates’.
With a passion for all things voice related; Lea has lent her voice to radio stations such as BBC 6Music with Lauren Lavern, Radio 4’s Loose Ends, BBC Radio London radio and most recently the BBC Music Life podcast. Extending her vocal talents into the VO world; Lea has the skill to professionally record and edit her own voice that spans from commercials to audiobooks, documentaries and continuity pieces. Her natural deep and husky tones produce a warm, welcoming and exciting experience. Furthermore, her wide and adaptable vocal range has the ability to create a diverse array of characters and tones.
