- Experience, training, and equipmentI am new to voiceovers. My training includes voiceover classes with Kalmenson & Kalmenson Casting in Burbank, California. Further, I have taken improve classes with Stephen Tobolowsky and Commercial classes with Mike Pointer. I recently completed a voiceover class with Marc Cashman. My studio equipment consists of an MXL 32mm large diaphragm microphone and a Gateway PC using WavePad software. I also have a notebook computer, so I can record copy and e-mail it while out of town. The first spot on my commercial demo was recorded and e-mailed to the engineer using this equipment. I am a retired U.S. Air Force Avionics Comm/Nav technician. After retiring from the Air Force, I attended the University of South Alabama majoring in English and minoring in Drama. After college, I spent 10 years living and working in Saudi Arabia. After returning from Saudi Arabia, I spent four years working as a background actor in film, television, and training videos. Retired and available 24/7.
