I'm a former teacher, so I've had to find ways to keep my lectures varied and interesting by changing up my voice. I love channeling other characters and letting crowds of people into my head.
I have over 10 years' experience selling all kinds of products with my voice. I've been the voice of a computer, an aerobics instructor, a fairy godmother, and even an Australian cow.
I have a very good feel for pacing, and I often hit the mark on a timed read the first time through. Because of my experience, I have a good intuition about what a given client is looking for. Most importantly, I LOVE MY JOB!
Notable clients: Domino's Pizza, American Cancer Society, Hewlett-Packard, Junior Achievement, Lincoln-Mercury, Washington Watch, La Baguette, YMCA, Goodwill, Saab, USA Wholesalers, and many more.
My most valuable training came from private tutoring with Maggie Roswell of "The Simpsons" and her husband, master of impersonations, Hal Rayle. I have a degree in Vocal Music from the University of Denver, and I have performed leading roles in over 30 stage productions in Denver, Chicago, and Washington DC. This, along with my lecturing experience as a teacher, seemed to lead naturally into voice acting. I've learned volumes through working in the field for over 10 years with clients from all over the country.
Call for specifics.
I take direction well. I can offer dozens of different ways to say one thing. I know what words to billboard. Tell me what emotion you want to convey and to whom you want it conveyed and I will capture it for you. I can do announcer or "real person" testimonial and always sound natural. The client's goal is my target.
