My experience is primarily as an actor for stage and film; however, I narrated several slide shows (Powerpoint voiceovers) for the Texas Department of State Health Services on nutrition, breastfeeding, and other health-related topics. These voiceover messages were heard in kiosks in state agency lobbies and at state, national and international conferences. I also was the Hispanic voice of "Ladybug" in "Tink", an animated children's nutrition video for the Texas WIC program. I have been the voiceover actor of several short films produced by University of Texas students in the Radio/TV and Film program.
I studied voiceover with Lainie Frasier, VoiceWorks at the Production Block in Austin, Texas. I took her commercial, narration, and animation voiceover workshops. She produced my commercial voiceover demo which may be heard
I volunteer each week as a recording director and voiceover artist for Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic, Austin, Texas, where I read/record textbooks on a variety of general subjects (non-specialized), novels and poems. I also volunteer each week at a community clinic where I read aloud to children and give them the children's books I read to take home with them and keep.
