MY STUDIO: I have a sound treated vocal booth, recording with either my Neumann TLM103 condenser mic or my Sennheiser 415t shotgun mic, depending on the project needs. All run into an Apollo Twin DuoX and iMac with recording and editing capabilities through Adobe Audition CC and iZotope RX7. I am able to remove background noise and clean up the voice files with my own editing software, as well as adding music and sound effects if requested. I can offer phone/Skype/Source Connect directed sessions for an additional fee. If necessary I am willing to travel, if this is figured into the project cost. MY EXPERIENCE: I am very comfortable behind the mic, having recorded voiceovers for animated cartoons, interactive toys, video games, mobile apps, radio dramas, and even working as a Universal Studios Tour Guide (imagine doing a 2 hour narration while giant mechanical gorillas and sharks attack you!). THEATRE: My experience performing onstage helps me provide top-notch acting abilities for your script. I am very active in musical theater, having played roles like Sandy in Grease, Mayzie in Seussical, and the Wicked Witch in Shrek the Musical. SINGING: I have a versatile country/pop/broadway style singing voice, and have placed in the finals of vocal competitions like Broadway's "Wannabe Wicked" (with "Defying Gravity") sponsored by Universal Citywalk and CMT's "Taylor Swift Karaoke Contest" (with "Love Story"). I have knowledge of music theory/notation, vocal techniques, and can mimic many different types of styles. I can sing in character voices (including child voices) as well. LIVE/ON-CAMERA: I also have worked as a live performer at the Disneyland Resort, where I played "Mom Elias" in the New Innoventions Dream Home, gave technology demonstrations, and spoke about the process of animation in the Animation Academy. ANIMATION: Since my college major was Animation, I have a unique understanding of the field. I have a passion for and a large knowledge of this industry. TRAINING: I have had private coaching or taken workshops with: Zach Hanks, Sara Sherman, Jennifer Trujillo, Mary Lynn Wissner, MJ Lallo, Lindsay Perlman, Everett Oliver, Katie Leigh, Lisa Biggs, Debi Derryberry, Elissa Weinzimmer, Felicia Ricci, Tom Burke. I frequently attend seminars, conventions, and discussions on social media about VO to keep up on the latest trends and hone my skills.
