I've done costume character work including a white-haired Fairygodmother with an East Coast trucker's voice, a shrill alien mom shouting at her son to put the human back and bring the spaceship home, and a staged five-minute skit of a radio show requiring me to do voices offstage for multiple characters including a 12-year old boy, an insecure librarian, a female biker type and a young mom giving a shout out to her son. My dialects are not perfect but I can give the flavor of Spanish, Russian, British and Southern.

"Doriah the Wind", my first self-created voiceover character, was a strong whisper that varied throughout her vignette as she took the listener on a travelogue of her interactions with nature and humankind. Next up was "Fairygodmother Commentary", a 3-minute weekly radio comedy spot where I exaggerated some news item. Most significant were a piece berating Thanksgiving as a national holiday, and a takedown of NASA's plan to colonize a space station near the planet Mars: "If you was the Martians, what would you think? - Right! There goes the neighborhood!" As opportunities have presented themselves,I've created characters to present through radio, commercials, PSAs, multimedia, live and video presentations. Some of them were created specifically for those mediums, some had their "tryout" while I did costume character work, singing telegrams - and auditions masquerading as singing telegrams. I've recently premiered two internet radio shows which I write and host: "The Believe Tour", a non-denominational celebration of the best humankind can be from a global perspective; and "It Ain't Over!" an onery "listen up" on what the 50+ crowd is still accomplishing, learning and sharing with other generations. As you can tell, it ain't - er, isn't over for me. My educational background - other than refreshing my brain and further complicating my ability to focus on a single goal - is totally unimpressive and irrelevant. However, just to follow good form: North Hollywood High School Diploma - Yes LAVC, Van Nuys, CA - Theatre Arts/Journalism majors - No Degree CCD/MSCD/UCD, Denver, CO - Photography/Photojournalism/ Communications - No Degree lAVC (Again!) - Broadcasting and film studies Earned Pre-Press Certificate; Attained Phi Theta Kappa,last four semesters in Denver Previous experience as a radio producer running an audio board using the Scott System. Some audio experience with Garage Band, Cool Edit Pro and Final Cut Pro as well as familiarity with a couple of other programs. Currently seeking a studio closer to home for further production of my internet radio shows. Very quick learner - what I don't already know how to do, I will learn.
