Kojo Prince is a professional voice actor and veteran standup comedian with over 30 years of live performance experience. His voice brings natural comedy, authentic energy, and effortless charisma to every read — from commercials and promos to animation, documentary narration, and character work.
Born in NYC and raised in New Jersey, Kojo comes from a family of performers: his
great-grandmother worked in Vaudeville, his grandmother was an opera singer, and his mother, Falumi Prince, was a featured vocalist with Harry Belafonte. Kojo’s own career includes headlining at The Laugh Factory, Catch A Rising Star, The Icehouse, and the Apollo Theater, and performing alongside Katt Williams, Eddie Griffin, and Vic DiBitetto. He has appeared on Showtime, Comedy Time TV, and has three film credits on IMDb.
Now based in Tampa, FL, Kojo records from a professionally treated Whisper Room equipped with a Neumann TLM 103, Sennheiser MKH 416 & 8060, Neumann U87i, and Apollo Solo interface. He is available for live-directed sessions via Source-Connect, Zoom, Google Meet, and phone, with same-day turnaround on most projects.
Kojo’s voice is naturally warm, energetic, and conversational — with the comedic timing and character range that only comes from 30+ years on stage. Whether it’s a funny commercial, an engaging explainer, a high-energy promo, animated characters, or a compelling documentary narration, Kojo delivers performances that connect with audiences and make scripts come alive.
