Khaleelah Reed

I have always been told that I have a great voice for speaking and singing. I've read for different events all throughout my childhood. Upon request I have done book readings, poems, and lots of singing! I love words and I love to speak and I truly appreciate the creativity of a voice; how the tone and inflection conveys a message and a story. Professionally I have done an audio bible reading to instrumental music. I have recorded the voice for the phone system at my current place of employment and other organizations that I am involved in. I have done a commercial for WVON for a home health agency. I am currently working on a demo musically, as I have published songs on a #1 Billboard Gospel Album. Most of my experience come from acting and singing. I have been performing for at least 15 years musically. I have always been placed into opportunities to speak publicly since H.S. that have given me hands on experience in public speaking. I majored in Sociology of which I earned my Bachelor's at DePaul University. My studies there also afforded me the opporutunity on several occassions to speak publicly. Employment in the non-profit and private sector have allowed me to train others and use my voice in a mulitiplicity of ways. I am enthused about the idea of using my voice to convey passion, urgency, comedy, healing and any other message needed. I see it as a gift and embrace any opportunity to use it.
