I began public speaking in College, and produced talk radio and radio commercials. I disc jockeyed in country and western radio, and mobile disc jockey. I gained my major experience at KNON, 89.3 FM, Dallas TX, a public radio station, where I was exposed to extremely diverse programing due to the many types of radio shows KNON aired. I produced many types of commercials and public sevice announcements, excelled as an interviewer, news broadcaster, and disc jockey.
I recieved my degree from Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX. I gradusted Magna Cum Laude with a Psychology major and Spanish minor. While in my junior year of studies, I decided my major was not a career I wanted to pursue, and began my internships in research psychology and sought out public speaking opportunities. I was hired by KNON after excelling as a volunteer for the Public Relations Director, when I graduated, while I was looking for a real job. At KNON, I worked in as many areas that I had time to do to gain as much experience as I could. I have worked in the music entertainment industry most of my adult life, and I have a charismatic personality and voice.
I have worked for myself much of my adult life, and have excellent public relations skills. I have done 15 years volunteer work as a social worker. I ran a successfull food pantry for 8 years, worked with underpriviledged children, and abused women. I have lobbied the Texas and Okllahoma State Legislatures for motorcycle legislation. I manage a very successful alternative country band in Oklahoma and Texas at this time. I am a published author. My specialty is historical events historical short fiction, and short story fiction.
