About Keith
Member sinceJan 14, 2008
I will get the job done.
My voice is flexible with a very versatile range. I can mimic voices ranging from very soft spoken educated white women to very deep voiced southern black men.
Dialects and voice types in my repertoire include English: generic; black (educted, da hood, old southern man, gran-ma); white (news anchor, business man, motor cycle dude, rural); Indian/Pakistani types; African types, British: (Jolly Well Spoken, cockney type); and of course Balmorese the language spoken in the State of Merlin (Baltimore, Maryland).
I have performed as an actor, singer, and poet for many several years. I have performed voice over work for The Maryland Humanities (radio), Maryland Public Television (Television-2 spots- one an hour long show on waterman), and Candidate for Baltimore School Board President (radio), and the House of Style Model Search (radio). Many of my voice characterizations are incorporated into my poetry performances. I have won several poetry slams based on my ability to bring characters alive.
My experience and background as an actor and singer led to my opportunities to do voice over work. My work, though not derived through formal training, is none the less of professional quality.
I have spent many hours in various recording studios, on many stages, and even in front of a few local television cameras. I believe that even my experience as an HR professional, which required professional oral communication skills is a relevant skill factor that supports voice over work.
