I have done college radio in the 2008-2009 college year (the first semester's show was me playing music mostly; in the next semester, I had a co-host "Battle of the Sexes"-type show.) The first semester's show was in the early afternoon, and the second semester's show was in the evening. Outside of that, no voice over experience.
When I talk, I get compliments on it ("You should be on the radio"). It took me this long that I should try to go to work with my voice. That would be the activity, I hope; me talking.
Update 9/26/13: Like I stated before, I am new to this so I am not too knowledgeable on equipment.
For my audio recorder, I have the Audacity program downloaded.
For the microphone, I have the Blue Snowball USB Microphone. I have gotten good quality from it.
I am currently in school for Accounting. Also, I have been working in the Hospitality industry for 3 years.
