I entered my first drama class in the 7th grade at a new school. I found my voice and loved how my body loved being silly. My family watched the Carol Burnett show and I couldn't believe my luck at being able to play in this way. I continued to take classes throughout high school, college and into adulthood where I started improv. An Emmy award winning colleague reached out to me in 2009 after the Deepwater Horizon explosion occurred. She need a voice for a documentary she was creating and I was hooked in the world of voice over.
Beyond the mic, I am a trauma resolution coach earning my Somatic Experiencing Practitioner title in 2024. I love to better lives one sensation at a time. I support creatives with SE tools & Integral Somatic Psychology skills in small group settings, webinars, 1:1 coaching, workshops and presentations. I listen deeply and light the way for fellow talent to elevate their own journeys related to being stuck in patterns or beliefs that don't serve, like imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, and stage fright.
Born in Peru at a breathtaking 10,000 feet on Halloween, my life has always had a touch of the extraordinary. I now live in the mountains of Montana where I regularly walk, hike and take in the spectacular scenery and wildlife daily. Being outside reminds me what it feels like to be connected to the exquisite beauty of our earth & its inhabitants. I also sink into the calmness of being a small detail in the grand scheme of things, too. Both nurture my soul.
"Crumrine" delightfully rhymes with "drum line," much to the amusement of my drummer and drum line instructor Berklee graduate husband who makes me laugh as much as admire his percussion talent.
