Having played in the standup comedy and Improv world, it seemed like a no-brainer to move to voice over. Voice over is the essence of using the voice to act. Each piece of copy is an artistic endeavor requiring the full commitment of the actor. I love that. I especially love doing voices other than my own, like animation. I love accents. Currently I have RP, Italian, French and Russian, at least to the improv level. Accents can inform my characters, and increase my range. I've taken classes in Commercial, Narration, and Animation at Voice One in San Francisco.
I've done a lot of things. I have a blog called "Raged and Confused". My 13 readers love me. As a veteran of the U.S. Navy, I've worked in computer science and physical security. In the software industry, I've worked in Business Intelligence, the tax industry, telecommunications, and the aerospace industry, among others. I've taught classes to both college students and CEOs. I've managed theaters, tended bar, stocked shelves, and painted walls. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and I can relate to most business needs. This gives me authority when I speak.
Who are you getting? Someone who gets your business needs, but with a comic flair. I'll work hard, tell you the truth, and have fun doing it.
Let me speak for you.
