Karina Ochoalcalá is soprano, radio host and voiceover artist in English and Spanish. A professional, elegant and versatile voice, cultivated for more than 15 years. Karina is a certified broadcaster in Venezuela with specializations in documentaries, narration and commercial broadcasting. She currently writes and conducts the classical music radio program La Sala Virtual from El Sistema broadcasted by Circuito Éxitos 99.9 FM in Caracas every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 A.M. Since 2007 she has performed as soloist soprano with several symphony and youth orchestras throughout Venezuela, as well as in Germany, Colombia, South Korea, as soloist with orchestra under the batoon of outstanding conductors such as Felipe Izcaray, Christian Vásquez, Manuel López-Gómez, Thomas Clamor, among many others, and as part of Chamber Music Ensembles. Karina currently writes and conducts the classical music radio program La Sala Virtual de El Sistema broadcasted by Éxitos 99.9 FM in Caracas, every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 A.M. She teaches Spanish, English and German diction and phonetics at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Music and German pronunciation at the Goethe Institut Caracas. Soprano soloist with nationwide and international experience in recitals, festivals, concerts with national and international orchestras and conductors (Venezuela, Colombia, South Korea, Germany). Teacher of Voice, Diction and Chamber Music with a broad experience coordinating musical projects -commercial as well as social oriented-, concerts and discography production and image, with the know-how from the performer's point of view and expertise together with the logistic and academic approach. Organizes chamber music classes, individual classes, coaching for musicians in all areas of performance improvement, for all instruments and voice in all levels. Organizes talks and private advisory about the new music education, with 16 years of experience in El Sistema, with team-work with experienced musicians and social facilitators.
