I've been mid-day announcer and Music Director at QX 104.1 FM (major market country)in Winnipeg since 1996, and have garnered several nominations over the years for both "Music Director" and "On Air Personality" of the year from the Canadian Country Music Association. As well, I spent several years as the female promotional voice of our local CTV affiliate. My freelance work experience has included commercial reads, voice acting, voice overs for promotional videos and computer tutorial software.
I completed a course at the National Institute of Broadcasting in 1991. I've also garnered several years experience as a live performer in the areas of musical theatre and as a vocalist in a touring band. I've done extensive studio work as a vocalist and demo singer. I was also the lead vocalist on the official promotional song used for the 1999 Pan American Games.
