During a 2016 internship with Cumulus Radio in Albuquerque, NM, I provided voiceovers for three commercial spots. During my time as an undergrad at the University of New Mexico, I worked with many voiceovers for projects, particularly for my media courses, including one course overseen by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association (NMBA).
I graduated in the summer of 2017 from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Communication, with an emphasis on Media Studies. Many of my undergraduate courses required voiceover work for assignments and projects. In a course called "Inside Radio and Television", I had a paid internship with Cumulus Radio Albuquerque during the fall of 2016. There, I worked with all of the station's departments and learned about all the myriad parts that go into making a radio program run successfully. I worked with Cumulus sound engineers David Bernard and Christi Leblanc, who were impressed with my "natural" voiceover ability and encouraged me to continue with voice acting!
I possess cogent communication skills, exemplified by my BA in Communication, and am knowledgeable about US popular culture, music, politics, and social media. Complimenting my degree is my minor in Anthropology.
