Hello, I'm Jarrod Kailef! When I was just fourteen years old, I got my first job as a DJ at a local radio station, and I've been doing voice work ever since!
I'm very comfortable with various styles of advertising and promotional voice overs. I'm able to handle scripts of many types, from a simple and sincere conversational tone all the way through an intense, high energy delivery. I'm also experienced doing AVR work for phone systems. In addition to my other vocal skills, I can produce a voice a wide variety of character voices for cartoons, video games, and movies. I can produce just about any male voice you need.

- Additional vocal abilitiesI am a native American English speaker with a neutral accent. I can do most regional USA accents, and am especially skilled with New England and New York. I'm good at a vareity of character voices like you might hear in a cartoon or a computer RPG. If pressed, I can sing passably, but only in the lower and middle ranges.
- Experience, training, and equipmentI was hired as a DJ at a local radio station when I was 14 years old, and I've been doing voice over work ever since! The bulk of what I have produced has been advertisements and commercials, often delivered with a video component and music, but I have other experience as well. I've recorded many AVR (phone system) voice prompts, recorded training and instructional videos and I've done some voices in video games which was a lot of fun. I have also been a voice actor for several films. Most of what I've done has been fairly short-form work, I haven't done audiobooks or other recordings that are many hours long. My primary hardware in my recording studio consists of a Shure SM7b microphone connected to a Cloudlifter, and then to a PreSonus tube preamp. I edit digitally on a 10th generation i9 PC with 64 GB of RAM. I have a variety of DAW applications that I use for post-production editing and mastering of my audio.
