My experiences are few and modest, but experiences nonetheless.
I did voice work for my high school and college as a master of ceremonies. My voice was recorded for several dance mixes for our dance team.
I have also recorded a few radio spots for a Portland based non-profit organization geared toward troubled teens.
I have performed on stage specifically for my voice (both as a soft, sappy romantic and a maniacal, evil-genius, third-world dictator).
I am a self-taught singer and drummer with experience in several bands both in the greater Portland and Los Angeles areas. No, you never heard of any of them. I sing in the car, shower, livingroom and for anyone inebriated enough to pay attention (joke...).
I have performed "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T.S. Elliot from memory. My background is in theater, english literature and poetry. Naturally, all of the college-type hipster engagements afforded me a lot of time to read-aloud with dramatic emphasis. I even played a pair of bongos while reading poetry in a coffeeshop (yes, I was wearing a beret).
Here is the hands-down, over-and-under, alpha-and-omega, end-all most important fact about me: I'm one of the most hard-working talents you will ever meet and aim to please (in all aspects of my life, unfortunately). I am extremely qualified for anything that you can throw at me, assuming it is within my vocal range. Even if it isn't, there is a fair chance that I will be able to contribute in, at the very least, some minor way to your production. I am a greenhorn in this field but highly-motivated. Did I mention capable? If nothing else, give me a ring or drop an email; you'll be amused if nothing else.
