I started my radio career in college radio in 1990, and it continues through this day. As an on-air announcer, part of your duties is to record commercials. I started winning awards for my spots when I began doing side work in Amarillo, Texas in 1999. I achieved the dream of building my own home studio before my daughter was born in 2012. I currently specialize in political spots and on-hold messages.
I began splicing tape and editing commercials in college while working at the college radio station. Now I don't have to use sharp objects to edit spots. ;) As a voice talent, I am currently working with Jodi Gotlieb as my coach. I have attended an "X Session" with MaryLynn Wissner, and I have also had a mini coaching session with David Goldberg of Edge Studios.
