I currently work for an ad firm in an administrative position and do 75-80% of all scratch tracks before they go out to client for casting. I have also done extensive work on awards show reels for the agency that has been submitted to international advertising shows such as Cannes Lions, Clios and The One show. I have worked for three years on various Saturday morning cartoon shows as both season regular characters and multi-episode characters. This past year I have begun to record audio books in both a narrative and character based capacity. As a singer/actor I was in the Broadway cast of HAIR (dir. Diane Paulus) and have worked at such venues as Joe's Pub, A.R.T. in NYC and The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C. I also front THE WEIGHT BOYS BAND, a country-rock/blue grass band in New York City. MFA in Acting - Columbia University -3 years vocal training with Kristen Linklater BFA in Acting - from UCSB -3 years vocal training including 3 semesters of dialect training. Easy access to a soundproof studio with the following equipment: *Neumann TLM 103 - Large-diaphragm Cardioid Microphone *Mackie ProFX12 12-channel Compact Mixer Running through a Mac G5 Tower onto Final Cut Pro. I have been working for an advertising firm for the past 5 years and have been able to be a part of the creative process of commercial spots before they even his the recording both. This has lead to a thorough understanding of what clients are looking for in a spot, as far as feel and tone goes, depending on the needs of the product or service.
