Originally from Sussex, on the South coast of England, I'm a well-educated, well-spoken British woman in my late thirties.
I'm a meditation and yoga teacher and podcaster with a highly adaptable vocal style. As a professional communicator, I apply mindfulness and patience to delivering excellent work; hence I go to great lengths to ensure smooth (easy-going) working relationships with all my clients.
"Having recently worked with Julia for the audiobook version of my new self-help book, I'd hands-down recommend her to anyone needing world-class, no-fuss voice-over work. Like a true pro, she nailed most of it in one take. If only I could've done the same with the rest of the book..."
Martin O'Toole, author and writer.
I'm open to various projects, including documentaries, audiobooks, podcasts, advertising commercials, explainer and educational videos, and assorted types of branded content. As a wellness industry expert, I'm well-placed to deliver guided meditations and similarly soft-spoken creativity. Though, style-wise, I'm far from a one-trick pony. Thus, I am keen to expand my portfolio and would love to audition for more diverse work.
I have a home studio set up, incorporating a Tascam Mixcast 4, Audio Technica condenser mics, 4k video cameras, and a lighting rig (if required). I use Adobe Audition for recording and post-production.
Please note: I am not a professional sound engineer, though I can provide one here in Bali if required. Alternatively, I can deliver voice-only services and work with creative and production teams worldwide.
