Judy McMillan is a voice actor located in San Antonio, TX, USA. She has been actively working as a voice actor since 2006, working for a diverse pool of clients and brands, such as The Getty Museum, Salon de Paprika, Austin Arts and Culture, By Mouth, The Merry Beggars, Dana Audio Plays, Andrew Fisher, Drew Mayer-Oakes, Mary Huhn/Irfan Hashmi, and Rosenberg Indoor Comfort.
Judy's expressive voice, training, and experience make her an on camera actress and voice over artist who has worked consistently over the years and remains in demand creating characters for film, television, audio plays, commercials, promos, narrations, music videos, and activations. Her goal is to be a partner in helping you to tell your story and to make sure all concerned can be proud of the end result!
Her training includes Hofstra University for 3 years as a Theatre Arts Performance Major, where she studied voice, diction, and dialects. She then went on to Colorado State University where she earned a BA in Speech and Theatre Arts and trained in oral interpretation and narration. She's currently studying with Gravy for the Brain and has also gotten training specific to VO with Studio E, in Austin and Edge Studios, online, amongst others.
Judy's home studio consists of dedicated acoustically treated closet, MacBook Air (M2), the AT 2035 mic, Focusrite 2i2 interface, Logic Pro X and Audacity DAWs, and DT 770 Pro Headphones. She specializes in character creation, use of dialects, and narration and looks forward to bringing a professional work ethic, short turn around time, and all of her skills to your project.
