About Joshua
As stated, my voice can range from a child to rumbling low like a demon, etc. English is my native language but I am able to read other languages, especially spanish(I can sound just like the people on those instructional tapes!) I have a natural knack for impressions i.e. Napoleon Dynamite, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sean Connery, various Dave Chappelle characters, Woody Allen, James Earl Jones, the Godfather(Marlon Brando), various "ethnic" accents, and Don LaFontaine(the guy who does movie trailers)...I know a lot of people think they can do his voice but I am exceptional. I would say my greatest strength is lower voices. I am also a musician and am efficient at replicating various rock singers i.e. Jim Morrison, Johnny Cash, Kurt Cobain, Roger Waters. I can pretty much duplicate any kind of voice!

- Experience, training, and equipmentI do not possess any official experience on paper. But I do make frequent phone calls to friends completely oblivious as to who I am...and these are friends that have known me for years; I convinced one friend that the IRS was on their way to his house to reposess his belongings for tax fraud(I used the Don LaFontaine voice) Wow, are there degrees for voice-overs? I learned like anybody else...boredom, a lot of movies and practice I do possess a B.A. in History and am currently in pursuing my masters degree in Park and Resource Management, but voice-over work sounds so much more fun! As mentioned before, I am a musician and have played the piano for twenty years and guitar for ten...and I sing.
