About Joseph
Warm and deep. Friendly or hard sell. Great for commercials, promo/trailers, and VOG. Smooth and authoritative for presentations. Live event VOG.
Joe Passaella is a long time veteran of Radio, Television and Film. He enjoyed a distinguished 20-year plus career in the broadcast industry executive and producing ranks before sliding behind the mic. He had the awesome experience of directing talent in front of the camera and behind the mic while serving as a senior maketing and advertising executive for ABC, CBS, FOX and Paramount Television. His work was recognized with an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement, first place International Awards from the U.S. Television Commercial Festivals, Telly awards, International Broadcasting Awards, Clio nominations, and Gold and Silver Medallions from the New York and Chicago International Film Festivals.
Although Joe worked with talent for many years, he couldn't quite let go of the spark to be behind the mic or in front of the camera himself.
His very first commercial was many years ago. He was the Empire Carpet King flying around Chicago on a magic carpet.
Really? Yeah, really.
He never forgot how much fun it was to be on the talent side of the business, and promised himself he would return someday. We all have some days, but Joe has been lucky enough to turn his someday into a reality.
Now, Joe gives life to scripts for products ranging from cars and trucks to pharmaceuticals. He lends his voice to commercials, promo/trailers, and narrations. You have heard him on commercials for Claritin, Eight O’clock Coffee, Chevy Chase Bank, BMW, Plavix and Garnier to name a few. You have also heard him on promos and trailers for networks and studios including MTV, Animal Planet, ESPN, NBC, and MGM.
Joe is the voice of the demon in the theatrical release "After Death".
He is in high demand to announce live events in New York City and throughout the country.
