I have worked as an announcer in club environments and have done some voices for claymation films. I have extensive recording experience in the music business
recording music demos for several musical groups including my own and have spent many hours in recording environments.
Most of my training is from "real world" experience from being a vocalist/musician/entertainer/sound and recording engineer over the last 35 years.
Depending on the specific need, I have the following
recording equipment:
Alesis HD24, 24 track hard disk recorder
Presonus 8 channel digital/analog mic pre-amp
Audiotechnica AT3035 condensor mics for voice and/or instruments
Audiotechnica ATR25 stereo condensor mic for voice and/or instruments
Assorted Shure mics for instrument recording
Behringer UCA202 USB audio interface (generally used for laptop audio recording)
M-Audio Fastrak 2 channel digital audio/midi interface
Roland DR880 drum machine for midi drum programming/tracks
Cubase computer audio multitrack recording software
Steinberg Wavelab audio editing/mastering software
Being a musician, I also have access to some of the best players in the San Francisco Bay Area where musical skills may be needed.
I recently recorded my first jazz album "It's My Turn" which can be heard/downloaded from CDbaby.com or I-tunes.
Samples are also available on my website joe-escobar dot com
The vocals, brass and final mastering of the album was all done with the equipment listed above in my personal studio.
