I was a part of a Voice Over showcase this past year that prepared for 11 months for the final show. Included in the preparations were intensive character development, as well as 6-12 hours of booth time a week. We also heavily trained in the arts of Automated Dialogue Replacement and Commercial readings as well as character readings.
I have done several projects where I was the narrator for the story. Also, I am currently on a webseries called the Daily Minute that allowed my character to do impersonations in many of the episodes, including characters from "The Simpsons," "South Park," and "Family Guy."
I studied with Tony Gonzales for 4 years before participating in his Young Actors Voice Over Showcase 2009, which included 11 months of intense training. I got my BA in drama at UC Irvine and spent a lot of time involved in the drama and musical theater programs.
I am currently studying voice with Nancy Badger and have been performing in musicals since I was 11 years old. I also won multiple awards for speech and debate during my high school career and continued to study the art of speaking throughout my college and post grad career.
Studying Massage therapy as well as voice training has taught me about the anatomy and safely using the muscles in order to have a lot of stamina and consistency when it comes to lengthy voiceover or singing sessions. For that reason, I can do the tougher jobs that require a lot of time and stamina paired with consistency of the sound and quality.
