For over 20 years I have been on the phone helping customers with technical issues. I have often been assigned the "difficult" customers because I can manage them, get information out of them to understand their problems and then get through to them what needs to be done to resolve the issue. I am the one that can connect to the customer with my voice.
With the advent of voice mail, I have taken pains to make my out going message welcoming, reassuring, clear, and believable. I have received many compliments for my out going messages.
Over the years I have acted in various skits and plays, for work and churches. One church had an on staff drama director and did a skit before the sermon every week. I did a dozen or so skits as various characters. I was complemented for several of the characters. After one skit my wife was asked if I was always like my "angry man" character.
I did a one-on-one voice over workshop with Ellie Devers of AP Voices in New York City. The result is the two demos on this site. The full tracks that were used for the two demos are also on this site.
I continue to work with Frank Piazza of Audio Paint to develop my voice over skills and improve the quality of the recordings I do at my home studio.
I have access to the Audio Paint studio in the upper West side of Manhattan, run by Frank Piazza.
At home I have the M-Audio Producer USB microphone and Audacity running on a Dell laptop in a home studio.
I have a B.S. in Computer science. I have been working in the computer industry for over 20 years in several different areas. I know computer technical jargon in depth. I am also familiar with medical terminology and jargon and can present it credibly.
