My first job was at the age of 13 as a radio disc jockey, and I worked for 15 years as an announcer, and newsman on various local radio stations, while in high school, college, and law school . The first program I hosted was entitled "The Live 25 in Hi-Fi Jive", so that should date me! I am a baby boomer of the first wave, and have practiced law these last 30 years, and been a guest speaker on many occasions. I am currently looking to get back to my roots on a part time basis, and do some "voice overs", and maybe books on tape, or commercials. I have done a limited amount of acting too in local thespian groups.
I am currently located in upstate New York, about an hour from the Syracuse airport.
My voice is very much General American speech(aka/Walter Cronkite) and my diction is very clear and concise. My friends tell me I have a very good "radio voice". My pronunciation and articulation is also very accomplished, and augments my "voice over talent".
I also write well, and have been a political writer and commentator as well, and a columnist.
I am a bit of a ham at times, and love to tell jokes and stories, and have memorized one of George Carlin's first albums (Wonderful wino, etc.), and entertain friends at parties with snippets of the old Carlin routine.
