- Experience, training, and equipmentSpent over a decade as a morning on-air personality. Currently work in media production and Communication professor at Carson Newman University. Have over 30 years in voice-over experience. Doug holds Ph.D. in Communication and 2 Masters degrees in a related field and a Bachelor's in Communications. Current Studio includes an Allen & Heath Zed 14 studio console with digital outs into a Macbook Pro workstation running the Adobe CS suite and Audacity. Outboard equipment includes an ART HQ231 twin channel analogue EQ, V-VERB PRO REV 2496 Digital Effects Engine, and an ULTRACURVE PRO DEC2496 Digital Audio Processor. Current microphones are a Heil PR40 and a Shure SM7B.
