About John
Member sinceJan 15, 2013
Producers and agents have said he has a good voice for radio and voice-overs. Voice is deep, expressive, and can reflect professional authority, humor, irony, sarcasm, and a smiling, teasing face. An expressive voice for narrations, a humorous and fun voice for commercials, along with a smooth voice for professional presentations. Associates have described his voice sometimes as like Garrison Keilor or sometimes like Walter Cronkite. He's made over 600 speeches, been a regular on a weekly radio show, presented his book talk on 80 talk radio programs, and performed a narrative on the local NPR affiliate.
Arnold would like voice over contracts to add to his platform as a professional speaker and author.

Additional vocal abilities
Arnold's native language is English and he's lived in all parts of the U.S. picking up bits and pieces of our regional dialects. Southern, Texas, Norwegian, Irish, French, and German accents can be performed. A good ole boy from the country, an immigrant, an Irish Priest, any telling a joke that uses the others.
He was in the Peace Corps in the Philippines and learned Ilocano, a bit of Tagalog, some Spanish, and studied French in undergrad school.
He's currently taking Spanish lessons.
