John C Frost delivers a rich, natural baritone described as smooth, wry, and quietly confident. Think TED Talker by day… space pirate by night. His sound is cool, composed, and conversational, with just enough edge to keep it interesting.
John graduated college with an art degree in 2009 right as the recession hit (lol), promptly ignored his creative side and entered a 13 year career in commercial real estate. Eventually he decided it was time to embrace the creative part of him and enter the world of voiceover.
When he is not in the booth, he is engaging in his passion of cooking for the people he loves, making strange, ecclectic sounds with his Serge modular synthesizer system, getting tied into a human pretzel in the BJJ academy, or road tripping with the love of his life.
Comfortably covering the mid-20s to mid-40s range, John moves easily between grounded “guy-next-door” authenticity and playful, character-driven reads. Whether the script calls for calm reassurance, subtle authority, or a wink of humor, he knows how to land the tone without overdoing it.
John’s delivery feels relaxed but intentional. He connects naturally, keeps the pacing clean, and brings a sense of intelligence to every read. Clients appreciate that he can be funny without being goofy, confident without being stiff.
