I was the go-to guy for voice work in the animation department at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I voiced dozens of characters, including everything from an obsessive compulsive raccoon to a southern lady. All of the projects were at varying degrees of completion, so while I was occasionally standing in a booth and simply recording various takes, it was often a case of watching completed footage and matching my voice up to it. I also voiced numerous infomercial projects, and gave award winning live beatboxing performances. I graduated with a BFA in animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design in May of 2013. While there, my passion for voice acting led me to voice not only the vast majority of animated projects coming from students, but personal projects for professors as well. I studied voice for performance after years of theater, both professional and as part of varying local organizations. I've also given an annual live performance that mixes beatboxing with vocal effects and impressions for nine consecutive years, and have won four awards from separate panels of judges for doing so. I apologize if any of this sounds like bragging- all I'm trying to say is that I absolutely adore voice acting, and I'd love nothing more than to continue to entertain to the best of my ability. I have access to recording programs and a high-quality mic, and have experience putting vocal tracks together. I've produced and directed my own animated films, as well as having graduated with a BFA in animation, so I have intimate knowledge of the work that goes into crafting an animated project. Speaking of which, I'm also both a traditional and 3D animator. I've worked as a teacher's assistant for the Writing for Screen and Stage class, and have had two of my plays performed live, so I have a great deal experience with both writing and editing scripts. I've had years of vocal training, both from live theater and varsity choir. And finally, I've been beatboxing live for over nine years to great success.
